Problem
FLK it over is a proptech startup that facilitating digital lease signing via SMS underwent a period of growth during the Covid-19 pandemic due to lockdowns and social distancing. Previous growth was due to word of mouth and referrals from existing clients but as the business began to target new markets across Australia, the business needed to more effectively communicate the USPs and benefits to new customers.
Additionally, FLK it over has launch a new industry-agnostic signing product that provided SMS-powered signing for any sized business. Both products has the same brand name but offered very different functionality to the client and the end-user. The challenge was to unify both products under the same brand while clearly presenting their features and benefits concisely.
The website played a crucial role in this effort, needing to drive conversions for the product-lead FLK Business while serving as an information hub for sales-lead FLK Real Estate. The existing website lacked clarity and failed to move lead through the buying journey.
Solution
The rebrand drew inspiration from the company’s values of innovative, excellence and simplicity. Working with the Founder and the Senior Leadership Team, I identified current challenges to the company and flipped them into brand pillars to build a new look and feel. As Senior Brand Designer, I led the brand direction, website design, and contributed to the copywriting to ensure consistency with the new brand’s voice.
Results
The website redesign resulted in a 167% increase in engagement, a 203% increase in engaged sessions and a 142% increase in trials started.
